After the death of my beloved Father, I didn’t want the costly, frustrating, time consuming process of dealing with solicitors regarding what I thought was a legal process. It is in fact an administrative task which everyone is capable of doing. I decided to go ahead with YCDP and if it was sucessful for me I would share my experience so that everyone could make YCDP their first consideration before speaking to solicitors. The Support team/Tom are 10 out of 10 as they helped me with all my questions right from the start and along the journey. I have never experienced service support of this high standard EVER across any section.

I HIGHLY recommend the platform for anyone wanting to save solicitors fees and who wants to apply themselves. £325 gives you an easy to use platform that asks questions that are easy to understand. It is intuitive to use and red flags you if there is anything missing. Support is 1st class, sent an email question on a Sunday afternoon and had a reply 2 hours later! YCDP cuts out large parts of the probate forms that do not apply to your own application….My application was straightforward and the actual time i took on the YCDP platform was probably 30 mins. Quotes from solicitors were £2k to £3k JUST to fill out the forms, bear in mind that you have to provide the solicitors with all the details. Brilliant service – Easy to use.

I’m never one for leaving reviews, but this service genuinely deserves the 5* review I’m giving it. I completed the probate application with my Mum shortly after my Dad’s passing. My Mum had been quoted thousands of £s to do this on her behalf, which I felt was unreasonable. After a quick Google I found this website and suggested it to my Mum. She was sceptical at first so I offered to help, and having completed the intuitive online process with her, she quickly told me she could have done it herself! It’s not a nice thing to deal with, particularly at such a difficult time, but I couldn’t recommend this highly enough. It genuinely works and we have just received our letters of administration.

I found it very helpful but of special note is the fact you can call their helpline for assistance which I did on a few occasions. They were always very patient and solved my issues.

James talked me through stage by stage and let me deal with it at my own pace I would recommend youcandoprobate to everyone .. worth every penny ..solicitors had quoted me £8000 that’s a real big jump in price and at such a vulnerable time .. I can’t rate YouCanDoProbate more highly. The estate I was dealing with was quite complicated and using a solicitor would have cost thousands. The team talked me through every step and made it easy and simple to complete probate. Any questions I had were answered straight away and I found it all incredibly straightforward and simple to use. This is worth every penny.

Couldn’t fault these guys. Easy to navigate through the site and they were on hand to speak to when needed. No need to use a solicitor which made a refreshing change. A difficult time was made so much easier. Don’t use anyone else, these are the people to use when having to deal with probate.

Having spoken to HMRC for advice following the death of my Mum they told me what forms I needed…. the forms were multiple, long and confusing as where the notes to help you fill in the forms !!! This platform just seemed too good to be true which is what I said to Tom when I phoned to enquire . He was very informative and reassuring about how and why it works and reassured me there is constant support during the whole process of completion. I sat with the HMRC forms one more time, gave up again and then I registered on the platform which took minutes , paid my £499 and I never looked back . It really does all the work for you and yes on the couple of occasions I did need guidance Tom was there calling me back after logging a support call within half an hour . Completed the platform …. Probate forms then all printed off from the information you have already input and then just a trip to the post office to post and then peace of mind !! Now I’m just waiting for it to be processed by the Probate office .

I would highly recommend YouCanDoProbate. I had originally been quoted thousands by the Co-op legal team. It was an extortionate amount, and I thought “Is it really that difficult?” After Googling I came across YouCanDoProbate and read the reviews. At first I thought “What’s the catch?” I did more research to check out the company more, and indeed everything looked genuine, because it is! I signed up, and simply followed all the sections. The web layout/dashboard is very clear and user friendly. Keen to make sure I was accurate in my thinking, I did use the e mail questioning a couple of times. The responses were very quick and thorough, explaining everything clearly and in simple terms. At the end, all forms are generated ready to print. Having spoken to friends who had lost parents recently, they have said all the information they had to provide to a solicitor was the same as I simply had to tap in. They paid the thousands I had been quoted. You can obviously do all this independently, and simply fill in forms yourself, without using YouCanDoProbate even. But if you are like me thinking “Can I do this? What happens if I get it wrong?” Then YouCanDoProbate gives you the easy web layout, all the calculation functions and the ease of a form completed. This service took the fear out of the process as I didn’t feel alone with no support. I also feel proud of myself that I have managed to achieved this without being ripped off by legal companies who want to take a percentage of the estate. Once submitted, my application was processed within 3 weeks, it flew through, which proves it must have been accurate. I would definitely recommend and use again if I ever needed to complete probate in the future.
